I purchased in black to wear to an upcoming event so it sat in my closet for a while. It was noticed and commented upon by so many - chic - was one comment made.
I am a fit 73 year old - 5'5", 122 lbs and my girls small - and wondered how the smocking would work on me when ordering. To my delight, it did - and very well. It held in place, didn't require periodic tugging or adjusting to keep in place, so it was snug without being compressive.
