For decades, I lived on the road. Packing and unpacking became second
nature — I had to know what worked, what didn’t, and how to make the
most out of just a few pieces. Without realizing it, I was creating capsule
wardrobes long before the phrase became a trend.
The secret was always in choosing pieces that could be worn more than
once. A wrap that carried me through airports, beach dinners, and black-tie
events. Pants that worked for day but transformed with the right top for
evening. Fewer items, but better ones. Pieces that could be worn again and
again in different ways — and always made me feel like myself.
I also became the friend who loved helping people clean out their closets. I’d
edit ruthlessly, pare things down, and then build them capsule wardrobes of
their own. I wanted them to see how freeing it could be to open your closet
and know that every single piece inside was something you loved, something
you’d wear, and something that would work with everything else.
When I started Bleusalt, that philosophy was already in me. I didn’t want
more clothes — I wanted the right clothes. A small collection of timeless
essentials, all made from the same extraordinary fabric, that could be mixed
and matched endlessly. The pieces I wanted to wear every day, everywhere.
That’s what Bleusalt is: capsule wardrobes that actually make sense for real
life. Luxurious, sustainable, made in the USA, and designed so you feel your
best.
The entire Bleusalt collection is a giant capsule wardrobe where everything
mixes together. Your job is to figure out what silhouette you like best....
Baggy on the bottom loose on top or vice versa, or do you like tight on the
top and the bottom or loose on both? Once you decide you pick the styles
that work best for that silhousette and where you are going. Using
accessories to be on trend or to elevate or dress down. Good basics provide
endless options!!!
